Warrior Integrated Beacon

This Pathfinder™ Beacon™ is integrated into the NFPA 1981, 2007-compliant, Sperian® Warrior™ SCBA. Fully automated, it leaves the firefighter to focus on the more important tasks at hand. All the firefighter has to due to ensure Pathfinder coverage, is turn on the air. When the cylinder valve is opened and the SCBA is charged, IntelliPASS™ (the integrated PASS device) and the Beacon turn on. When IntelliPASS goes into alarm mode, the Beacon transmits the Pathfinder signal, allowing the firefighter to be located QUICKLY.

All Warrior SCBAs come from the factory pre-wired for Pathfinder. The Warrior Integrated Beacon provides redundant coverage on both the front AND back sides of the firefighter. This seamless integration is possible because the IntelliPASS system on the Warrior SCBA was designed with and around the Beacon.

    Firefighter does not have to remember to "turn on" the Beacon for proper operation.

    In addition to automatic operation, the streamlined Beacon is permantely and securely mounted to the SCBA, preventing the firefighter from "forgetting" or misplacing it on the fireground.

    Compliant for use with Warrior™ SCBAs under NFPA 1981, Standard on Open-Circuit Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) for Emergency Services, 2007 Edition.
  • Certified Intrinsically Safe
    Meets or exceeds the requirements of UL913 for use in Class 1, Division 1, Group A, B, C and D Hazardous Locations.
  • CBRN Protection
    NIOSH certified to protect from SC/PD/CBRN for NFPA 1981, 2007 Edition Warrior SCBAs.
